Anyone here about the stolen medic in the city last nite. I heard a brief transmission over the radio to dispatch and that was the last i heard. im assuming they switched channels but i never picked it up any where else. i believe it was Medic 21 and it was occupied with a patient.

Please i would like to hear more on this if ya have any info.

I heard it. It was Medic 21 and it was stolen with a patient inside. It crashed into a cab at Mulberry and Green injuring the cab driver and passenger. Shortly after the crash an EMS supervisor reported that the hijacker was arrested. Medics were dispatched to pick up the original crew and to treat the people injured in the accident. The police reported the hijacking over citywide and the Western and Central District dispatched units to find out if there were complaintants other than the fire department personnel.
