The house across the street had a small kitchen fire the other day. While the fire department was here I was talking with one of the firefighters. He told me that AA county is building a new station near 175 and Ridge Rd. He thought it would be labelled Company 4 and would have all brand new equipment. I have not tried to verify this.

AA County is building a new station near 174 and Telegraph and looking at it last week it's almost complete. Rumor has it that it will be Station 4, but I have also heard Station 25 mentioned....

I haven't heard anything about a new station at 175 and Ridge(very near my house) and that location wouldn't make a lot of sense with Co 29 only 1/2 mile away at 175 and the Parkway and Co 45 on post, but then when did government make sense.

Co. 4 - station under construction on Telegraph Rd (MD 170)
just south of Reece Rd/Donaldson Ave (MD 174). Should be
in service mid to late summer and will house an engine and
a paramedic unit.

Cost - $2.6 million dollars + land.
