Question Interference on FMARS/2 in the DC area?

Posted in the VA forum as well.

For those in MD that don't check the VA side of the site....

Is anyone else noticing a digital signal on FMARS/2, 154.280? The signal sounds fairly distant from a high elevation in Fairfax, VA. It is a busy but intermittent signal. Typically it seems to be transmitting for a duration of 30+ seconds every few minutes, if not more frequently.

Just wondering if anyone else has heard this, and/or has any idea of where it may be originating.

I think I heard this just the other day. But I was tuned into the PG County system while driving up I-295 on the 11th Street bridge into DC, when I heard what sounded like a trunking system come through. Sounded like the control channel of a Motorola system. I didn't catch what channel my scanner had locked on to, as traffic on the 11th St bridge can be a bit of a roller derby at times.
