I cannot find the airboss freq! Last year it was easy to find no luck this year.

http://www.monitoringtimes.com/MT_Ai...Guide_2009.pdf

I set up all of the Thunderbird freqs. No luck on any others.

Cannot find the Harrier or F/A18 channel either. Tried to find both of those.

Airboss is now 123.150 due to interference on 119.000

Coastal fog was shutting down show when I called it a day at 2pm. Half a good show!

If folks would forward their notes to me, I can create a wiki article for the air show - that way, next year, you have some ideas as to what freqs and talkgroups were being used. My email is ka3jjz@netscape.com

Default OC air show freqs.

Ok I just got back today from OC.
Here are the freqs that I heard during the show:
On friday a C-130 with paratroopers on board told air boss on 119.0 that he was picking up Patomic on that freq. The air boss said he could not hear Patomic. After that on day #2 they switched to 123.15.
The air boss was up on the roof of one of the hotels up on 16th street, He had on a headset hooked up to a radio and a antenna. This guy really did a GOOD job communication wise and visually concerning the bad weather.Lots of moisture in the air which lead to some great vapor coming off the jets. Sorry no pics.
The military jets were kept down at Wallops Island. Did not have those freqs.
Over all GREAT show . I highly reccomend it for next year.

157.15 Coast Guard OC MD
123.5 Banner tower airplanes
123.05 OC airport
141.075 T Birds
235.25 T Birds
139.8 T Birds (keyed the mike 1 time)
235.25 T Birds
127.95 Pax Control
122.775 Skytypers
123.475 Goldenknights
122.575 Pax Remote
157.075 Coast Guard
345.0 Coast Guard
123.3 Airboss Discrete
119.0 Airboss (also BWI)
123.15 Airboss switched to this freq day #2
