Default question with AAFD and BCFD

I'm using a 396t finally, thanks you know who you are, got it programmed right off the database. Here's the confusion. While scanning I'm getting AAFD ID:17328, not a bog problem expect that it's AAPD. I can't figure it out. How to re-assign it, or what's going on. The same thing happens with one of the BCFD and BCPD channels. It has a BCFD ID but it's BCPD. I'd appreciate any help. I can fix things via computer program if I know what I'm supposed to fix. Right now I'm stumped. Any help, I appreciate it

Sounds like you're scanning in ID Search mode instead of ID Scan mode. Hit FUNC+Scan while in the affected system.

If you're using the 396, I'd suggest downloading the Easier to Read manual linked off the Uniden DMA FAQ in our wiki. You didn't say how you programmed it, or with what tool, but you should also be able to switch it to ID Scan with software as well....73 Mike
