Default AACo - Motorboating - BC785D

Over the past few weeks, my BC785D has begun to motorboat on the AACo TRS. I use the scanner to monitor the analog channels on the system. The motorboating comes and goes, but when comes, it is fairly regular and most annoying - making the scanner unlistenable. Has anyone else experienced this? Any suggestions on a resolution? I changed the setup to Control Channel only, with negative results.

Update: The problem appears to have been solved. As I mentioned in the earlier post, switching to CC only mode did not solve the problem, which as it turned out, is only partially correct. When I switched to CC only mode, I did not delete/ lock out the data (voice) channel frequencies in the bank (note that the bank contains other analog frequencies for Anne Arundel County.) As an experiment, I programmed an empty bank with just the primary and secondary cc's and set that to cc only mode. The new bank works perfectly. So I went back and deleted the data channels from the original AA Co bank, and the motorboating is gone.

That is amazing, I would've thought CC only selection would ignore anything but current CC. Anyway, glad it works for you. Good scanner in my opinion. Maybe we need a note in Wiki for the scanner in event this happens to others.
