Uniden BC796D and Harford County question

I am getting a new Uniden BC796D scanner. Will this work for scanning the new Harford County 800mhz Fire/EMS system?

yes it will work, the 796d is digital and so is harford county so it will work just fine.

Great! I am glad to hear that. I have some experience with scanners, but am very new to the 800mhz and trunking. Are there any tricks to configuring it?

also check out the CHM ARC250 Files for ideas on setting up your scanner to work for you. lots of potential.
