Opps !!! Montgomery Co to get new fire station

See the link below for more details, but in short, a new "city" is being built in Clarksburg...western part of Mont Co. Station 29, Germantown, one of the busiest in the Co is unable to keep pace with the calls to the new town as housing goes up at a record pace.

So emergency funds are being used to build them a temporary fire house with an engine and a medic unit to answer the calls...I am not "in the know" but suspect it will be part of the Germantown District (Sta 29 to the south, Sta 9 to the north).

Any bets on a Sta 39?

The New Master Plan, approved Nov 2004, has FIVE new stations for Montgomery County:
West Germantown - Station 22
East Germantown - Station 34
Clarksburg - Station 35
Shady Grove - Station 36
Travilah - Station 32

The budget is approved for at least four of them. Sitees procured for W. Germantown and Travilah.
