All this morning have been hearing [sarcastic] references by officers & dispatchers about 'new codes' & 'whatever we're calling this now'. Does anyone know if the ten codes, response codes, etc. have changed significantly & if so, what the new ones are? Thanks,

The change is to plain speech with only 4 codes remaining:

Signal 13 - Officer in trouble (new code for MCP, common in other MD agencies)
Three codes were retained from the old code list: 10-60, 10-61, and 10-70.

Response codes are priority and routine rather than Code 3 and Code 1.

The MCP 'status codes' were completely eliminated.

You'll probably hear some unusual traffic over the next few weeks as people adjust to the new language.
