Yes, that's Waterloo serving Howard County in Central Troop.

DCR, by chance are there going to be any links between York County's TRS and FIRST?

I don't believe Northeast has yet gone live with this. The funding for phase 1 has reportedly already been secured, but I've yet to see a hard figure on timeline for finishing up this chunk of installs.

Dave just because the tower sites are listed as sites to come on line does not necessarily mean that the barrack will come online, especially if none of the tower sites are built out, such as Golden Ring's area., you have no coverage in the North & West ends of Baltimore County to support 700mhz operations. Northeast is expected to come online in Phase 1 & 2 which is the entire Eastern Shore and Golden RIng will come online in Phase 3.
Come on folks use you heads and realize that just because a tower site is at a barrack doesnt mean that, the barrack is online.

He's not talking about tower sites. He's talking about the organizations specified to come onto the system in FiRST documentation, specifically those named barracks and the MdTA. We happen to be using our heads.

How about any links with PA STARNet? That would be more useful then links to any counties in PA.

Do you have any evidence to support this? Everything I have seen shows Golden Ring is in Phase 3 as is most of Central Maryland.

http://delta.mdsp.org/conference/201...T_Overview.ppt
This hints at it, though the most detailed info was off of a Prezi powerpoint done by one of the FiRST admins which is no longer available on Prezi. That expounded on that to mention specifically M, R, and F as part of the Region 1A set (though I don't remember seeing D Belair, which is weird..)

Unfortunately that is very misleading, as the only section that that has been completed is Region 1a and Kent County, Regions 1 and 2 have not been completed.

Anyone having problems with the audio on the AA site this evening? The radio stops on a TG and the alert flashes but I get no audio, nor is anything recorded. For other systems such the Anne Arundel TRS and the USNA p25 system audio and recording are fine.

EDIT: I haven't noticed anything yet from last night...but... I do occasionally notice the radio stopping on a TG and hearing nothing... This points to the problems with simulcast systems (but there may be other reasons). If you've ever tried to receive the PG, Baltimore City or Baltimore County systems, you'l know what I mean.
I have my radios "strategically" placed where they can best receive - one on one side of the room for the Baltimore site and the other over the fireplace for the AA site.
The Baltimore site is very consistent.... the AA site "fluxuates" quite often - I assume its because I'm sitting "between" two sites (BWI and Crownsville). I also think there may be other factors including weather, cell towers in my area, and, I still believe (until told otherwise) that the transmitters/towers might even drop to a "low power" mode when there are no subscribers in the area of a given tower. All are just guesses....
When I see the [T] start to "act up", I move the radio around a little to try and find a better spot for reception (usually only about a few inches left/right back/forward) - which might even rule out some of my "guesses".
On a related note -- my AA radio "stuck" on the 7106 on Sunday night for an hour and 9 minutes with no voice (it recorded but there was no sound). It eventually released on it's own and there were no complaints or discussion but the talkgroup users that I noticed afterwards. This happened around 2245 (to 2350). Did anyone else notice that or did the radio just get confused?
BTW - what time did you see this problem? I'll check my recordings.

Where'd 7151 come from? That's a pretty irregular name by what I remember of MdTA's channel plan..

Looks like I got 21 recordings in the time frame for Bay Bridge - total of 3 mins and 10 seconds .. reception was a bit choppy but readable.
Edit #1: choppy enough that I probably missed some activity....
Edit #2: also found another extended "non voice" recording (11+ minutes) starting at 0906 this morning....

I have noticed a decline in reception quality on both the Baltimore and Anne Arundel sites in the last 24-36 hours. I'm wondering if the cold/windy conditions are making some sort of difference. Looks like I need to find some new" sweet spots" to place my radios.

Kent County Avaiation
Heard Syscom request Trooper 1 switch to Kent county aviation.. trooper 1 was confused nevertheless stated he did not have any Kent Aviation frequency... Syscom advised it was on the 700 system.. Trooper 1 advised that they do not have 700 in the aircraft yet.. Trooper 1 came up on the Kent Low band freq instead..
If Kent has the 700 aviation Talkgroup operational, who else does?
