I heard a Dispatcher, so don't know if all the other times it was just an F unit playing around with the radio.

Thanks and Happy Hunting on the new State system.

Found an interesting Twitter Feed from the State: https://twitter.com/MDInterOp

One interesting Tweet from April :

"Talbot Co is making the choice to partner with Maryland and come on the Statewide Radio System. Will happen next fiscal year, Stamp says."

Another tweet from April:
"Coming on to MD FiRST soon: @MarylandEMS, @MDMEMA (tomorrow!); @MDSHA, MTA, MDE, DNR, @TowsonU"

Since Talbot is deciding to "Come on" FiRST, I wonder if Queen Anne and Caroline will also?

I'm up in Cecil this afternoon. Couple of things seen so far...

Some patched activity on MSP F Northeast. I'm seeing radios affiliate with the Cecil site on that talkgroup but none talking that I've seen. Several radios popping up affiliating with 7233, 7235, and 7328 (Centerville).

Also see site 108 as Failed, Current as a neighbor on 774.28125...which I believe is Conowingo.

And one other item.... thought I heard a unit a few days ago on MdTA Hatem calling as an "I" unit making a stop on Maryland 200 (ICC?). I'm hearing it now also on the Cecil site.... Odd?

Could it just have been the Hatem dispatcher covering the ICC detachment as well, like the Port detachment also covering FSK Bridge?

That would be my guess also- just seems so weird given the distance between them. Hatem is probably the talkgroup with the least amount of activity so it probably makes sense.

Cool, that explains how they've been getting dispatched. Would be nice to know if that's a permanent pairing like Port/FSK or a temp one until Phase III gets sorted and ICC switches over fully.

Are any users in Annapolis able to receive the Queen Anne site?
I get a solid 4 bars in the parking lot at work in Annapolis but can't capture the control channel.
Am I doing something wrong or is this typical?

I'll be traveling to Rehoboth Beach for a day later this week, I'll program in the Shore sites and report on what I hear.

I've gotten reasonable reception of the control channel from Severn on my PSR500 - enough to drive Pro96Com but not enough signal for voice. I don't think the PSR800 picks it up either. On the other hand, my BCD536 picks up QAs voice most of the time. The 436 is hit and miss.

Lately I've been picking up QA county and even occasionally the Delaware State 700 system from west Baltimore, which is nuts.

Drove to Rehoboth Beach and back today via Routes 50 and 404 in MD.

MSP S ( TG's 7328,7334) on Queen Anne's and Denton.
MSP I ( TG 7329) on Talbot and Denton.

An encrypted TG 7341, on Federalsburg.

In OC this weekend. Got some hits of the SHA talkgroups on several sites on the drive. Also got some prisoner transports chatting away.

In OC, TGID 7232 has what looks like a patch of a scanning radio on the OC system... OC police, MSP Berlin, fire, others. It went quiet at some point last night but returned this morning.

The air show is in town and this morning there is also activity on 7231 partially encrypted...state radio IDs including 211xxxx.

Probably a radio on OC-1 (command) which would explain why it went quiet in middle of night then came back this morning

Yup... Confirm that. Curious about the encrypted stuff earlier however.

Haven't detected anything on other than 7231 and 7232.
