Default Carroll County

Have the 800mhz scanners become obsolete now that Carroll County has Rebanded their system? I am having trouble trunking the Freq. that are on the website.

Hardly. What scanner do you have? In most cases, you would either need new firmware and/or add a custom table. Be more specific.

Here's our db entry on the subject...

Carroll County trunk

If you have a PRO-97 or 2055, you're not going to be able to trunk this successfully. The good news is that most of the currently produced analog trunkers will.

Here is the earlier thread that dealt with Carroll County's rebanding...

looks like the old low-band fire station alerting frequency; think it was 33.940, was deleted

That is correct. They were leaving it up until the transmitter or some necessary component thereof needed major fixing. Toward the end you could hear the squelch break but the modulation was near nothing.

Can't tell you a thing about HP's. I thought they magically "knew" where they were and went to the appropriate trunking and/or conventional frequencies/talkgroups to monitor. North Carroll Communications in Westminster may be able to assist. Of course they do this for a living so there may be some sort of fee. It's only money.
R U Balto Co truck 18 ?
