Default Does anyone use two tone detect.

Does anyone use two tone detect in the Baltimore County area? Two tone detect is a program you can use by plugging your scanner into your computers sound card and setting it to check for a tone, when it detects the two tone alert it records it for you. I am trying to program it to detect the box alarm warble tone but not really sure how, anyone who is already using the program for this willing to send me their tones file so I can just use that? I know all of you may not have heard of this but the thread seems to be pretty popular so I thought I'd give it a try. I could ask for help on the thread but thought this might be better.

Is the dispatched calls on their own talk group? You could always use Snooper to get the audio emailed to you.

VE3NSV, he's not talking about getting the audio. That's easy FM on 46.46.

1500/800 is the box alarm warble... but there are TONS of others..

He wants TTD to detect the warble and record and email him the audio. That's the whole purpose of the TTD the last time I checked. If the only traffic on the TG is the dispatched calls he can use Snooper to record and forward the audio.

You got the idea, thanks. Mainly I just don't know how to enter the tone into the program and was wondering if anyone else knew how. I understand the where to put the A & B tones just not what to put for the other options. I'll have to wait and see if anyone locally experienced with programming balt. county to it comments on this. Thanks all.

No problem, I probably could have explained it a little better.
