help on down loading to scanner bc396

Hello,need help on down loading. where do i click on my computer to download into my scanner.And also what do i set my scanner screen on ? i would like to listening to anne arundel co police and fire.i hear it is very easy to do. Bob - are you able to listen to AA County at all on your bc396? If not, I can walk you through the manual steps to get you going. After seeing how that goes we can try to get you going with software.
