Does anyone know if there's a list/file on the web of which apparatus are at which stations? Thanks,

I believe the list does not exist. I could be wrong but this sounds like a project to work on.

Get in touch with the web master at BCCRS. (webmaster@bccrs.org) They used to have the complete information, including chiefs, battalions, utilities, etc. plus phones, addresses for each station. It seems to have vanished since they rehabbed their site, though.

While it would be time consuming one option would be to check out the websites of the different stations and see what they actually list for apparatus. One could creat a spread sheet to fill in the unit numbers as you scan the website. You could even add the year and make of teh unit if you care to. As for a few updates, 16 has not had a truck in many years. And a corection/clarification for Rescue 1. I beleive that Amb / Medic 40 runs out of Station 26 using staffing from BCC. Station 1 doesn't have a trunck or tower. Does 28 have a hazmat support unit? I beleive 21 used to have a brush unit 215.

You are correct about Station 1 not having a Tower. They used to have one I forgot it was gone.
Station 28 is another county Hazmat station along with Station 7.
There was a Brush 215 and became Brush 185 which is kept at Station 5 most of the time. Medic 40 is owned by BCCRS and stationed at 26.

A few quick questions regarding apparatus that I've heard dispatched that don't yet appear on my list:

- Tower 29 [perhaps at station 29?]

- Rescue Engine 22 [perhaps what I have listed as Engine 22 from Station 2?]

- Tower 6 [Several folks have told me it's not at Station 6, but it's been dispatched several times in the past few weeks, though not sure from where]

-Ambulance 99 [Perhaps a reserve ambulance or a PG unit?]

-Ambulance 297 [perhaps at Station 29?]

Also if anyone could fill me in on what differentiates an 'Engine' from a 'Rescue Engine' - additional extrication equipment, a Paramedic, something else?

Tower 29 is out of Germontown Station 29.

Engine 22 would be the reserve Engine from Station 2. Have not heard Rescue Engine 22 on a call.

Tower 6 was moved to Station 8. Now there is a Truck 6 unless the truck was out of service and they were using a county owned reserve tower.

Ambulance 99 is Hyattstown ambulance.

Ambulance 297 is out of Germontown Station 29. They have Madic 299 Ambulance 298 and Ambulance 297.

Rescue Engines have extrication tools on it also.
