Default Mabee Harford County radio system interference in balt.cnt

When im in Glen Arm Maryland, I am getting eccads trunking interference when listening to baltimore county.....I know that harford county upgraded there system the last past couple days or so....dont know if its them though using ecads or what but....was getting interference for a while the other night where my 296 wouldnt go right back to the control channel...I hate when that happens.....WHAT WAS THIS.....

Harford Co. is upgrading to a Motorola system, so it wasn't them.

I wonder what system it is than....Is there a eaccds system around that area of loch raven resivior....?

Anyhow, an obvious question - how do you know it's an EDACS system? There are comparitvely few of those in this neck of the woods.

If you're not running outdoor antennas, try moving the scanner an inch or two in either direction. At these wavelengths, that's all it might take to clear this up. I've got to be in the right spot, for example, to copy the BGE system consistently. I lose the control channel on occasion due to desense, but if I move an inch or two in one direction, sometimes that improves things....

it may be Worcester or Wicomico I can't remember which one runs it or it maybe Chester County Pa.
