Interesting article in Thursday's Lynn Item about Saugus, Melrose, Malden and Lynn FD's applying for a federal grant to fund their change over to the new UHF system.
They are just applying for the grant now so it will likely be many months before they make the change-over, assuming that they do get the grant.
