Default Gillette Stadium

Just an FYI to all. As of today April 4th 2009 Foxborough Fire will no longer be using 464.9125 for any stadium events. They have officially gone on line with there secondary frequency 471.825 DCS-413. This new channel will be the first of 2 to go on line and one may be used as Fireground Channel in the future.

I will be posting updates as i get them.

cwh - Is the new channel called "Channel 2"? Is it a repeater system? Do you know if they had to run antenna cables thru various parts of the Stadium to get complete coverage? That might be a very interesting radio engineering job there. Peter Sz

zerg-1. the new Channel has not been designated as channel 2 as of yet, Because there are two other frequencies to be assigned later down the road. The New Channel will be called stadium meds fo the time being. 2. yes it is a repeater system (dudley hill, gillatte stadium and green st). 3. Yes they did run cables and such.
