Default What is Malden MA FD Channel 3?

Does anyone know for sure if Malden FD Channel 3 is 158.985? At the end of the radio test on 154.25R the dispatch always says - "all portable radios switch back to Channel 3 and test".

I think that Malden might be using 158.985 as the input to their Channel 1 repeater (154.25 out - 158.985 in) - and - they might also be using 158.985 as their firescene channel (Ch3).

A couple of mobile radios were chatting on 158.985 the other day - it seemed way too informal to be going thru the Ch1 repeater - I didnt have 154.25 on at that moment.

For eastern Massachusetts area fire frequencies, I recommend:

Boston Sparks Association - Boston, MA

153.83, with various PLs (and sometimes CSQ) was widely used as a fireground freq by District 13 departments operating on VHF.
