WEEI is on 103.7 FM in the RI/Southeastern, MA area. Unless you have the Uniden BR-330T or a "Receiver Radio (Icom, Yaesu)" then you can hear the game on AM. Keep in mind though even with the BR-330T AM reception unless it is local isn't going to be optimal. I could barely hear WBZ in Dedham on my BR-330T.

A good solid cheap AM radio is one like this:

Amazon.com: Sony AM/FM Radio WalkmanŽ in Silver (SRF-59): Everything Else

Also good for AM Dxing. However with more and more automation and networked stations and syndicated programming (WEEI as an example has multiple radio stations), Its hard for me to DX AM stations unless I catch the News or Weather to get the station location.

WEEI [WVEI] is on 105.5 FM in Western Massachusetts Here is a link to their site: http://www.weei.com/weei/shows-schedules/weei-1055fm-springfield You can listen to the Red Sox games via their page. I can't think of a way to here it on your scanner. Most of the broadcast is done via twisted pair.

Now if you were at the game...Listening to the activity at the park would be fun.
