I'm trying to program my Radio Shack Pro-106 for Boston police and would like to know the best way to search the database hear and download it to the scanner ?

Thanks for any and all help that you can give me.

Look here for the Boston frequencies:

Suffolk County, Massachusetts (MA) Scanner Frequencies and Radio Frequency Reference

This software will help you to import what you want, has 30 day free trial:

Win500: PSR-500, PSR-600, PRO-106, PRO-197 Scanner Software for Data Management, Monitoring, and Control

Here is a guide to help with the software:

WIN500 - UtahRadio

You'll also need the programing cable.

I don't download directly from RR, but if you click the "Database" link, then the state of MA, then Suffolk country, you'll get a list of frequencies, including the cops.

If you're using Win500 as your software, I can email you the file from my PSR 500 (same thing as the the Pro 106) that has nearly ever single Eastern MA police, fire, and trunking frequency.

You can find a lot of detailed information at Scan New England. If you are using software, there might even be someone who can give you a file already set up.
