You can check our database (the link is right under the RR logo in the blue toolbar), but this site is far and away more comprehensive for the New England area...

Default MBTA Boston police frequencies

I don't know if the new 800 MHz trunking system is fully operational yet, however try the conventional frequencies on the below website as they may be still using them. I included a couple of websites about MBTA & the MBTA police, Enjoy.

Plymouth County Massachusetts Scanner Radio Frequencies

Thanks for the info, The new 800 MHz systems that you are talking about is this just for the MBTA or for Boston - State PD also ?

Default MBTA Boston police frequencies

Go to the database & click on Massachusetts, then scroll down & click on Boston under catagories, then click on Suffolk County, scroll down to Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority, they explain what the latest progress is with MBTA. It does appear to mention some type of MBTA/MSP interagency frequencies.

The MBTA has been building a new EDACS Pro Voice system for some time now. It is for all T operations, not just police. However, the police are still on the two UHF channels and will most likely simulcast on them if and when they go to the new system.

That's because it can't be monitored. It is a Pro Voice system and therefore no talk groups are shown. There are no known scanners capable of monitoring this system. At present you can put in the conventional channels for Transit Police, only 2 of them, 470.6625 and 483.5625, both with PL 131.8. The subway system and buses still uses their conventional frequencies.

I am a retired MBTA Transit Police Officer living out of state. Anyone know of a site that has the Transit Police live feed?

Thanks,
Mike
