Hi KB1UAM:

Could you be more specific? Are you looking for the City of Boston Emergency Agency or the State of MA Emergency Agency? Or is there another name to search for?

Russell

The agency uses secret squirrel frequencies from what I have heard.

Try 460.275 - once upon a time there were rollcalls on there that included BEMS, BFD, and BPD. July 4 2012 was the last time I noted the freq being active.

You could do a FCC search for the "City of Boston" and try and see what is licensed for them by process of elimination too.

That's the public safety interop frequency. If they are anywhere, I'd look for BEMA on the City/MSP Zone 1 trunk system. As noted, it's the Mayor's Office of Emergency Management and the mostly do coordination of other agencies responses to major incidents.

The MSP Trunking system does have the Boston City Services on it, but BEMA is not listed as such, so that agency is using a TGID without that Tag or Description. If you can spend some time on it, try using 50256 - Boston Areawide 4 - and see what comms you get, although you may have to listen for quite a while. It's worth trying.
