Default Region 3 Cmed Narrowband.

The narrow band channel plan is continuing for the cmed channels used by Northeast Cmed,The current channels will double from ten to 20.The biggest change will be the P.L. number change will be to 123.0 for both the northshore and merrimack valley.The hailing channel will be Med 4 for merrimack valley,,and a change to Med 42 for the northshore units.All 13 towers sites will be narrow band by the end of the year.

Will the Lowell and Lawrence General ALS units still be on Med-9?

yes matt i believe so.The med channels that will be assigned to the north shore/merrimack valley services are being determined still,however i believe med 9 will still be the primary channel for these units.The med channels that will be used will be unique to each region to prevent co-channel problems.
