Default Fall River/ bristol county police regional patch

This morning I am noticing some kind of patch between fall river police channel 1 482.3625 and Bristol county police regional on 482.5125. I have 2 radios going on at the same time and the same transmissions are being heard on both frequencies. I have never heard this done before. The fall river channel comes in a lot better than the county regional. Any thoughts why fall river decided to do this?

Someone might have pushed the wrong button on a radio console.

Or

Is there any sort of special operation underway in Fall River involving 'out of the city' units?

No special operations that I'm aware of. I'm listening now and it seems like they have shut the patch off. Maybe its what you said that the dispatcher maybe has a fat finger and hit the wrong button.

It seems that the patch is back on.
