I saw AF 1 land at JBCC! I happened to go to our radio club's shack there on a whim, around noon on Saturday, 8/10.
I was oblivious to the fact that the POTUS was about to land around 3:00pm or so.
We have a shack in the retired Air Force members hut. As I am calling CQ on 20 meters, a retired AF guy sticks his head in the radio room and asks me "when's he landing?" That's how I found out.
The hut is right next to the tarmack! So we (there were several other retired folks there) got a ring side seat, it was great watching the Ospreys land and taxi right in front of us, and then AF 1 landed, what a show!
I'll post some pics soon.
