Uniden BCT15X Help

Hi All,

Hoping someone can help me. I have a Uniden BCT15X base scanner. I am getting really fed up because it keeps on scanning the preprogrammed News, Air, and CB Radio frequencies which I don't want. Does anyone know how to permanently lock these out or delete them on the scanner itself or if there is a way to do it on FreeScan. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks all.

Also does anyone know how to do a run test of the weather tones on this unit?

While it is scanning them, hit FUNC L/O L/O on each and it will lock them out.

I think he means the preprogrammed info that uniden ships the units with..

I forget how to set it for the user programmed ..Now & then Ill accidentally hit some
random keys while driving..It will start scanning ALABAMA...ECT thru all the states...
Ill have to pull over,Log on to RR and remind myself to shut off the BT & PT and all that
stuff..
