Default Scan Cape Cod Scanner Feed Changes

Hello,

For those of you still using Windows Media Player to access the Scan Cape Cod Live Scanner Feed, there is a new link to do so. This replaces the old link that pointed to:
http://www.scancapecod.net/scancapecod.asx

That link now contains an audio file telling you to check the website for changes. The new link is:
http://www.scancapecod.net/livescan/capecod.m3u

If you wish to copy/paste a link directly into the Play URL function of Windows Media or Real Player, you can use:
http://scanmassachusetts.no-ip.com:8000/capecod

The .ogg link for Winamp, which provides the alpha tagging is still:
http://www.scancapecod.net/livescan/scancapecod.pls

And the link to copy/paste into Winamp if you wish to run the program first and connect via your playlist remains:
http://scanmassachusetts.no-ip.com:8000/capecod.ogg

I have updated my Scanner Feed Info Page at http://www.scanmassachusetts.net to reflect these changes and explain things further. From the website's main page, click the Scanner Feed Info Page link on the Scan Cape Cod Menu.

There is also a feed status page now available as well:
http://scanmassachusetts.no-ip.com:8000/status.xsl

There will still be some tweaking, but the bottom line is, if you want to view the alpha tags, please download and use Winamp with the .ogg feed link. You can use Winamp with the .m3u file but the alpha tags will be occasionally delayed. The .ogg file is the best bet with Winamp and performs superbly.

If you provide a link or links to my feeds from your website could you kindly update it/them to reflect the above. Thanks.

Scott
