Default Cambridge Trunked System Help Request

What is the best way to set up the BC-250 for monitoring this system?

Do I need to program a fleetmap?
If so, which one?
Will a pre-programmed one work?

I have the RadioRef database information.
I think I just need a little help interpreting it.

Last time I tried, I was unsuccessful.
Any help/suggestions are appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

The most current information for Cambridge can be found here, http://users.adelphia.net/~kc1ho/ematrunk/. The information in the RR database is a bit outdated as Type I talk groups are no longer used.

Thank you for your help and quick reply.

I'll be at the Esplanade this July 4th and in addition to keeping
in touch with the Boston side, it will be interesting to hear
coordinations with the Cambridge side of the river as well.

It will be interesting to see if Boston pulls out some of the new toys or if they revert to the old methods that kinda work.

Default Setting up a BC246T for Cambridge

I just received my new BC246T. I found another posting which helped me delete all the out-of-state systems. It looks like the only one left is "Cambridge MOT".

1. Should I leave this in there ? Is this all I need or is this old info and needs to be updated ?

2. I mainly just want to listen to the Cambridge Police. Can someone guide me through this so I can manually enter it in and then add more as I go ?

3. Do I need a software package for this if all I want is various Cambridge channels ?
