Does anyone know what system and type of system I'm hearing on 861-865.9125MHz in Bell County? I've only caught one ID which was 9040, sometimes it doesn't even show an ID, it's just blank. One conversation was something about tow trucks. Is this a Type 1 or Type 2 Motorola System?

I'm using a PRO-92...

Thanks, Michael

Addition from above:

The frequencies are as follows,
861.9125
862.9125
863.9125
864.9125
865.9125

These are the ID's I've captured,
9040
9200
5136
12368 Pest control?
12831
17472
17488
17504
17552
32512

I believe this is type2 motorola, but sometimes there is no ID.

Interesting. I can not find any info on this system. Have you noticed that 856.7125-860.7125 are listed in police call under the city of killeen? Beats me what they are for. At one time i thought it was part of the EDAC system but it is not. Oh well. Just an observation. Steve

In response to the NO ID... On the 92's sometimes you will have a lack of TGID displayed... its not that often, but it happens....

As to Type I vs Type II.... Monitor closely the TG's... If you hear identical comms on multiple IDs.. like dispatch on 16170, unit A on 16700, then unit B on 16767 its a good indicator of iether a Type I, or a Type IIi Hybrid.... Also all "legal" Type II ID's are divisable by 16.

I am assuming your using a 92 A, or 92 B right?
