    Good Morning Mike,
Hope this past storm that's moving across the nation didn't leave too much snow for you guys. WHP3310 sent me a p500 file for listening to Wyo-Link along the I-80. He listed each tower and all the frequencies for that tower in a separate folder. Doesn't the Win500 program allow you to ony use the control and alternate frequencies? I mean I was able to get all of UCAN in just three foders. Any thoughts?
I will send the files to you as soon as I figure out how. I am still in the stages of hunt and eck on the keyboard

    Good Morning Mike,
How's evrything in your neck of the woods. Casino's all of sudden don't have any money. Strange how that works. They build too much and next thing you know they are broke. I think they are rich, they just wat to get richer at other peoples expense. Anyway was wondering if you have set-up the wyo-link yet for your PSR500. If you have, could or would you send me a sample so I can see how to attack this new program. From what I have been reading most of the towers are on line. I think Wyoming being such a small state population wise thier system will come on line alittle faster than Ucan. Any help you can be will be greatly appreciated Doug

I was asking the locals both in Wyoming and S.Dakota for information on what freqeuncy plan they may have for the area. Guess I didn't word it correctly as I didn't get any replies. 737 mech suggested getting a peice of flexiglass score it and then heat with a hair dryer or torch and bend the flexiglass to custom make a scanner holder. Only took two tries and the flexiglass was like $3.50 at the local Home Depot. Then one day while in WalMart my wonderful wife found these book ends. Stiff metal, so she bought them for me. I have a PRO 97 and the PSR500 on one stand and that really works great. They hang by the belt clips. Techs at work made me a jumper cable and I run both scanners off the Radio Shack ground plane antenna I have Chimney mounted on the roof. I am alittle elevated where we live so its almost a straight line of sight for the whole Vegas valley.
As for Wyoming, I will probably load the new system they are working on as all information I can get state all towers in areas I will travel will be on line by this January. Hope thier system isn't anything strange as I am having a hard enough time with UCAN. There again I am going to program what I think I can listen to and the old system also so as not miss tne conversations. Then after this summers vacation I can send you guys in UTAH anything I learned about the UCAN system. I figure from St. George to Evanston I should hear something on UCAN. I am basically a scanner nut who has had scanners since 1970 and just love to listen to what's going on. The PSR500 was last year's Christmas, birthday and anniversary gift. Here in Vegas I listen to Metro until they go to PRO VOICE, the EDACS for NHP- NDF and the valley system on SNACC. Have just started to listen to Nellis AFB. Think I will be listening to Nellis as my #1 when and if Metro goes PRO VOICE. I just experiment with the different frequencies and talk groups. It seems all the trouble I had understanding the scanner is coming to light by all the new people buying this year. I must have gotten in on the basement level. I still marvel at the new things I learn about the scanner and put into practical use. I understand storing the various folders on the scanner just not able to to it. Have computer for back-up of files till I can get it done right. Thanks for the e-mail and may this year bring you and yours a wonderful year with many blessings.

Ya, I just ordered one of the universal cell phone holders, and was wondering if you can send me the step-by-step directions on customizing it. My email is ishyid@gmail.com.

    Thanks,
