Zguy in your opinion what is a good mobile scanner antenna for mil air, public service, and 2m/440? I would rather not use on the glass or mag mount. let me know Thanks 73's

Hello Zguy I have just purchased a Comet Discone antenna that came with 65' of RG58 is this ok to use for a 60' run or will my signal attenuate from coax losses? It will be mounted about 25-30' high on a mast outside of the house. If I were to mount it on the tower at about 25' up which coax would be good for 120' acroos the yard and then 25' in the air. Seems like a long way to go to get antenna up 25'. let me know your suggestions.
