Oakland County SRT

Oakland County SRT on scene *edited out city, in effort to not break rules*..... Oakland Cty trunked system, TAC-8 SRT talkgroup.... sorry don't have talkgroup ID.....

Don't know what's going on,but listening for about 30 minutes, sounds like maybe hostage situation.
Air one on scene.....

Now want FAA, Civil air patrol to clear air space over incident.....


Anyone know what's going on....????

Turns out, this is just an exercise.

These guys are convincing though, couldn't tell, till I heard mention of exercise.

Then, heard sniper say, "I have a shot, suspect on balcony" then command, "take the shot" sniper reply (in one complete sentence) "Shot taken, suspect would be down"

Kinda weird, as now there has just been an "explosion on the roof"

Now, I really wonder if all these guys would be talking this calm, in a real situation, if so... these guys are good.

At least it is interesting listening......

BTW: Exercise is in Auburn Hills...... Somewhere near OCC campus. Which I guess makes sense, if I recall, that's where their law enforcement training is located.

you are correct it was just a drill at the Combined Regional Emergency Services Training (CREST) Center, located in Auburn Hills, MI. I heard the same traffic and was thrown off guard, at first.
