I think they are insinuating that there is an invisible car driving around. If they had a carbon monoxide detector, it would detect the emissions from the exhaust.

PD's here don't carry them only the FD's have them on their rigs.

We got a new one it's digital so no more tick tick tick tick beeeeeeeeeeeep.

Just push button and read the led display. It's 1000 times faster too.
