Default Oakland County M/A Com

So how's the Oakland County M/A Com switchover going along? I havn't seen much chatter about it unless there's not many listeners on this board in Oakland County.

As far as I know, there are only two cities on the system at this point. Farmington (or Farmington Hills, I can never remember which) and Troy/Clawson.

AFAIK, the cities that have made the transition are Farmington (did much of the testing), troy and (I think) Clawson.

Ive talked to a Farmington City officer, and she has no complaints, lots of buttons on the mobiles though. Great in-building coverage, especially in the high school... shes had to use it for medical emergencies in and around the school and she has no problem contacting dispatch from the high school. Ive heard it myself at the Founders Festival and it is amazingly clear, unlike any walkie talkie ive used. Its just to bad we cant scan it.
