They work middle and northern Oakland county. They transport for a few FDs (like Waterford) and provide ALS service in the north and west parts of the county.

ALS Communities (where we are the ALS provider)
  • White Lake Twp
    Highland Twp
    Springfield Twp
    Orion Twp
    Bloomfield Hills
    Franklin/Bingham Farms
Back-up provider for Pontiac, Waterford, Holly village, Independence Twp and Birmingham

BLS Communities (transport service for FD ALS)
  • Waterford
    Bloomfield Twp
    Birmingham

Star also assumed the ALS partnership with Auburn Hills from AMR when they closed. AHFD Alpha 2 runs with one medic from the FD and one medic from Star. The three bravo units are also provided by Star, and are staffed by AHFD EMTs.
