what ever happen to the warren police helicoptors they used to keep them at the now closed berz airport i know they do not use them anymore

Good question. I wonder why they didn't keep them at Detroit City? I would think Detroit City would've been closer.

As of last summer, they were basing them at Oakland Troy airport.

I thought they were discontinued because of budget problems. I have seen them in the air.

You sure you're not seeing Macomb County Sheriff? The use a few privately owned aircraft occasionally. One is really small and I've see it at very low altitudes, looking for marijuana files hidden in some of the wooded areas around Shelby Twp, Washington Twp, etc.
