Default Looking For Eaton/Ingham Scanner Frequencies

Hi,

I am interested in getting some Eaton/Ingham County Scanner Frequencies. Please send them to jasnboyzz@aol.com.

Also, I am interested in doing some Sky Watching. Anyone with information on that, please contact me.

What freq's are you looking for that aren't in the database here?

I am looking for police and fire frequencies. I have weather frequencies, and the skywarn website. Thanks for that info by the way.

Police and fire are all listed in the RR Database here. Select "MI" then "INGHAM" or "EATON"

If you're new to skywarn, I'd say Eaton counties class will be fine for you.
The one given in Ingham is longer, a bit more interesting, but could be a bit 'too much' for someone just thinking of the idea. When I attended I got to hear a lecture from the son of the fellow responsible for the 'F-scale' and the microburst theories. There was even a local meteorologist that spoke!
If there's something specific you're looking for and cant find in Eaton, let me know and I'll see what I can do to help.
Do you happen to have a amateur radio license yet? I can point you towards that skywarn net too.
(Although, I have no secret info, all of it's in the database under Eaton County)

Both of those speakers you refer to will be there again this year, in just a few weeks...

http://www.qsl.net/ecarc/

That will take you to the Eaton County amateur radio clubs website.
Sign up for the mailing list, most info comes throught that.
If you look through the archives, you'll see testing coming up soon, and later also.
There's a group of them that meet informally on a weekly basis, and a monthly meeting in the basement of the sheriffs dept. (The EOC as they call it)
Good guys, you'd enjoy it.
