Hey guys i am in need of a little help i have a uniden bc796d and it is programmed but i have lost my old cable to hook up to the computer to add and remove older channels no longer broadcasting, i am shortly on my eay to Radio shack to rebuy the cable to hook up to the computer in order to download using arc250 software, from there i dont know what i do next as far as getting freqs off here to the software into the scanner any help or suggestions are greatly appreciated thank you in advance

According to this link: http://www.butel.nl/products/bc785/780catch.html . You may copy and paste the frequencies of interest in to the program directly. RR's database for Wayne county (http://www.radioreference.com/apps/db/?ctid=1308) will get you scanning in short order.

The software section of the forums will probably be your best bet for questions about ARC.
