Default Santa Sighting Reports / BOL's

Does anyone know any freqs or departments that report Santa Sightings on the air?
I know some dispatchers will put out a broadcast on reports of flying sleighs and reindeer.

Id like to know in advance on what freqs to listen to for my kids.
I dont know if this is done still, but I heard it somewhere a few years ago.

The Wayne County sheriff has done it for years on 155.370. They also usually broadcast it on their main dispatch channel.

Last year was the first time in many years they did NOT do the broadcast.

Supposedly the dispatcher told everyone they would pick it back up this year but we will see.

Do a search in this very forum - the topic comes up every year.

Never heard a peep on 82P911 or 155.370 from Wayne County. Must be a thing of the past now...

Just shortly after 2130 on Christmas Eve, Huron Township put out a Santa BOL on the fire channel. How they did it and involved detroit metro tower radar was pretty kewl.....

Sadly I believe this is a thing that many departments have let go. Its sad because its just a bit of fun, but nobody knows how to have fun anymore...

On my way home from work in Virginia Beach, Va at around 11:30pm last night. I turned on the scanner and caught the tail end of a BOL. Dispatch said "Described as a jolly old fellow. Seen with two accomplshes Dasher and Dancer. If caught wish a happy holidays and a happy holidays to all."
