ARC500 Help
I have imported frequencies from radioreference into my scanner using the ARC500 software. The frequencies for Ingham and Eaton Counties work fine the the scanner, but the Wayne County frequencies I imported do not work at all. Does anyone know the reason?
Are those frequencies incorrect?

If you're looking for the Wayne County Sheriff, they are on the MPSCS now. Be sure to load the MPSCS tower sites in and around Wayne county, and the Wayne county talkgroups if you want to hear them.

Also if you haven't purchased ARC500 yet and are still evaluating it, consider trying PSREdit-500! It's made in Michigan by mikey60, the guy that just helped you! If he's that helpful when you're using his competitor's product, just imagine how great his support will be using his own product, PSREdit-500! There is a 30-day free trial too!

I will back SIG-INT 110%. PSREdit-500 is a very fine product and easy to use. No one can match mikey60 support, he is the best. He helped me out with a few questions I have had almost at the speed of light. I cant say enough good about his program and support!

Thanks to all of you for your replies. While not new to computers, I am new to discussion forums and am kind of feeling my way around. I'm also new to scanning.
I took a leap of faith in December and bought a GRE500 scanner along with the ARC500 software from Scanner Master. I had some trouble managing the ARC500 but finally figured it out with the assistance of the help desk at Scanner Master. I'm sorry I didn't know about the PSREdit-500 at the time.
Anyway, I bought a membership at radioreference and was able to get the GRE500 to communicate directly with radioreference through the software. It automatically imported the talk groups and trucked systems I was interested in. I live in the Lansing area, but travel to Detroit a couple times a week on business.
So all the sites, systems, talk groups etc (I'm still learning this lingo) in the Lansing area and the Wayne County area imported OK into the scanner. The Lansing area works fine, I can listen to what's going on around here.
But when I get to Detroit, there's dead silence, even tho the scanner says it's scanning the MPSCS and the Detroit PD, silence. Also, I'm not getting the MSP Brighton or Detroit posts, but am getting the Lansing Post.
Any ideas?

My guess would be that the TSYS you created is missing tower site 701. That's the main site used by Detroit PD (The only site really). Add the control channel frequency from that site (868.725) to your configuration and you'll probably hear a lot more while in Detroit.
