Default Federal Frequency?

I was in Sarnia today as had my Pro-106 searching the 160/160mhz range. I caught the tail end of an encrypted P25 transmission on 170.6250 (didn't catch the NAC unfortuantely... I assumed it would get stored along with the frequency when I saved it but it didn't). Anyone have any idea who this would be? I am of course assuming that it was coming from the US side of the river (Pt. Huron area).

More than likely FBI.

Good to know, thanks! I'll keep an ear on it in the future and see if I can catch a NAC code.

See what you get for a NAC,this is also a CBP Channel in some parts of the [New England] Country, and FBI away from the Borders.

I was back in Sarnia today and once again caught a fair amount of activity on this channel, all encrypted. The NAC being used was 160.... Anyone know what partucular agency this may belong to? Thanks!

Edit - From browsing some other threads, it looks like the FBI were on this frequency in the Detroit area, so I think it's a safe guess that it's them.
