Default 451.6125 high speed test track comm's?

I have been listening to 451.6125MHz(R) 67.0PL since it popped up in a search. I keep hearing comm's like " be advised we have cars entering the high speed track", "do 5 tests up to 112MPH".

There are no race tracks around here and the only thing I can think of that it might be is the Chrysler test track in Auburn Hills. It could also be from the Ford Proving Grounds in Milford. I did a quick check of the DB and couldn't find the info as to who it may be.

Anyone know?

I checked the FCC ULS site and the only thing that came close was the Chrysler LLC and the only Ford I could see was Ford Comms Inc. So It sounds like its the CPG in AH.

A possible match could be this 451.6125 licensee. Looking at Google Maps satellite view there is a track which could be used for vehicle testing.

You don't provide any clue where "here" is. I believe Chrysler's Chelsea Proving Grounds is still active, and occasionally used by LEAs.

Default Test Tracks

Ford Proving Grounds Romeo Michigan
Ford Dearborn has a small test track
Chrysler Proving Grounds Chelsea Michigan
GM Proving Grounds Milford Michigan

If you list your location it will help determine what you are listening to.

Also a new test track in Fowlerville Michigan it belongs to Aisin a Toyota supplier I forgot the name they do business under at the track.

Cool Test Tracks

Hello all,

462.2500 PL 127.3 Ford Test track. Don't know which track it is yet? They have a high speed track & a low speed track. I'm located in da hood, DETROIT!
They mainly run FORD's, but you will hear them run other companies vehicles also.
I'm going to have to check out that other freq from Ray-Air. I don't have that one. Thanks.

I've been listening to that one for a number of years and had it pinpointed as the GM Milford track and the FCC database confirms it's listed as WQY653 a General Motors freq . Not to make this more complicated just my 2 cents.

If there is good reception in the Detroit area it's probably the Dearborn test track for Ford
