Nothing good to say about them. The design they had was nice but then they go to this crap.

Looks like old Dwyer can't leave Farmington too far behind. Looks similar to their cars from when he was there.

I'll be the lone dissenter here. Based on the picture it doesn't look that bad. I've seen worse. Just a different version of the ever increasing black and white cop car. But it does have Dwyer's Farmington Hills look to it, just missing the gold striping. Now the new graphics on the Farmington Hills car did look crappy based on the photo someone else posted here.

I hope it's marked because to run traffic they have to have the mininum of markings on the passanger side or they can be stealth markings.

Alright....I was going nuts before cause I wanted to see a photo of the new black CV's, but now I'm offering a reward for someone who can photograph that Charger. It was only a matter of time before Warren bought a Chrysler police package, with Fouts's Buy American campaign.

Crown Vics qualify as buying American although final assembly for both cars is done in Canada.

Anyone know how many of these black Crown Vic's are in service at this point? 6?

Also, I saw the aforementioned unmarked Charger driving on Chicago Rd Wednesday evening. I only saw the passenger side, and there no markings at all. In fact, outside of the police package wheels and the small stubby antenna on the decklid, you wouldn't know it was a police Charger.

Apparently 9 cars were purchased and 3 are chargers. All 3 black chargers were assigned to the traffic division and I have yet to see one. I am sure they didn't get marked on one side like they should be. I'll have to start looking for these cars to see what they look like

Warren, Troy, and Southfield were notorious for this.

They have been slapped in court for it many times but they won't listen.

The new Chargers was unmarked ( none at all )had red and blue lites behind the grill no markings even on the passenger side. There is two black Tahoes in the DPW lot on Stephens with the new Crown Vics so K-9 and Evidence tecs as well are gettin new ones I would guess.The big auction for the city was last sat the sold a bunch white cars

I saw one of the new Tahoe's go down Martin Rd after President Obama left MCC. It had the Mayor of Warren in it. Just going nice and slow west bound on Martin right past my friends house. I had just put my camera away. DOH!! No markings on the passenger side, they had all the hidden lights going also.

I'm going to have to keep an eye out for those Chargers now. Seems like everyone is getting Chargers. I like them, but they have a weird gearshift on the dash. You have to pull it toward you then pivot the thing to the right to get it into gear.

Thats because the car was designed with a colum shifter in it and not geared towards police use.

The first police prototype Charger had to be modifiyed to be able to fit consoles in them so they moved the shifter to the dash.

It's crummy and needs to be redesigned along with the braking system. Their brakes don't last, they heat up and warp to easily.

Romulus is using a red station wagon for traffic stops, no markings, no lights on the roof. I'm being told folks are hesitating on pulling over, saying they were not sure it was a police car. I've seen it once, but not "lit up." I don't know about behind the grill, but it did have mirror mounted strobes. But if it wasn't for the fact that antennas catch my eye, would of never thought it was a cop car.

I heard a transmission on the Special Events channel where the driver of that Tahoe stated that he couldn't assist with some traffic problems because he was assigned to pick the mayor up. Didn't the mayor say that he wasn't going to be using police resources to travel? He drives a black Charger R/T; he probably could just park almost anywhere he wanted out there.
