Farmington Hills Police have changed as well,

Only a few cars are new, but they are slowly progressing. The older one has the white stripe.

Now if they could learn how to catch a mini-van loaded with six people we'd be all set!

I monitor Warren a lot and it seems in the last year or so they aren't doing too well with car chases. In fact it seems so obvious it may be due to an order not to engage in chases due to liabilities. There was a chase one evening involving a mini-van with a bunch of people inside and they got away! Macomb County Sheriff on the other hand catches everyone!

A lot of those chases are getting called off by the supervisors lately.

Well, I happen to go by WPD today and caught a look at the new car leaving from 4pm roll call. Black with with striping and lettering. It is really just the same as the current pacakge except all the graphics is white. Personally they look similar to the FHPD car picture above and it really is ugly as hell. I think they needed some change, but the white on black didn't do the trick

They just need a spiffy lighting package from PSC.

PSC does GREAT work indeed!

I know the owner. While old and cranky him and his people are great at what they do.

I'll try and get a photo of the new scheme next week, if one of you doesn't beat me to it.

Default wpd color scheme

Was at DPW this weekend. The new scheme looks terrible- I guess "busy" would be the word. Looks much like the old red/blu/ graphic scheme except the side stripes are white with a bold POLICE and the wpd door crest is all white. It looks very crowded I think commissioner dwyer is trying too much to turn wpd colors into farminton hills. like they say- keep it simple.

I'm not sure if there is only one car or several at this time, but the mysterious black cruiser with the new graphics package rolled by my house yesterday. Of course, I didn't have my camera ready, not even my cell phone near me. I wasn't impressed with the new graphics.

I was listening to the council meeting when they purchased the new cars, I believe it was "9" cars. But I could ahve sworn they said chargers and now I am seeing the CV's.
I think they are ugly as hell!!! I can't seem to be in the right spot to get a picture. Will keep trying

I haven't seen one at night, but I assume those white graphics are reflective? I'm not sure about that part, but I am sure that they are UGLY! Nice job on the photo....
