Default Need a little clarification / help

My wife and I are headed up to Michigan next weekend; specifically the Battle Creek and Marshall areas.

In looking thru these areas in the database, I'm just wondering if all law enforcement (state and municipal) is digital, or are there still analog PD freqs for these areas? I see some freqs for Battle Creek that don't say "MOVED TO THE MPSCS TRS," but those don't look like they'd be the main LE freqs.

Any and all info will be greatly appreciated. Many thanks is advance.

Most of Calhoun County is now digital including Battle Creek PD. Most of it is encryption too.

That's what I was thinking.

Oh well, I'll still take my scanner with me and see what I can hear.

Thanks for the info.

Like Jeremy say's, a lot of it is encrypted, but I would still program it, people are still in the clear from time to time. Also don't forget MSP District #5 & DNR District #8 both of which are not encrypted.

Keep an eye on traffic. I-94 eastbound has been closed since last week near mm 97due to a bridge repair gone bad. Unsure if repairs will be done in time. May want to keep an eye on this. Detour is in place around the area.

WB I-94 is back open, EB I-94 is still running a detour. It's a nice little mess up there

Yes, it certainly was a mess yesterday afternoon when we arrived in the area. Took us forever to get from mm95 to the exit at mm97. The detour was a mess too. But, we got thru it without losing our cool LOL.

The scanning has been kind of slim so far, but haven't had much time to check. That should change now. We're back at our hotel for the evening and I plan on finding out what there is to hear.
