Default Shiawassee Co migration to the MPSCS

So now that Shiawassee County has switched over to the MPSCS, the notes say within a year or so the old VHF system being used as a backup will be removed? What will they be using as a backup? What type of backup system is in place on the MPSCS? How many sites do they have and what percentage of in building hand held coverage do they have? Do they have Aux receive sites on this system?
Also, was this migration free? As I used to monitor Shiawassee Co on their VHF system, it always sounded loud and clear and appeared to have great coverage so not sure why they switched over?

Backup is used by going to conventional talk-around frequencies, either in analog or digital mode. Put in the I-Tac and I-Call channels.

What type of backup are you referring to? Site trunking, fail soft, dispatch outage?
There are backup procedures assigned for all the above.

All of the types you mention? These would provide County wide coverage for both mobiles and portables?

Also, the other questions I asked....# of sites? Are there Aux receive sites on this system? What is the percentage of coverage CW for in building hand helds? Migration fees? I assume this was not free?
