An individual wrote this question as an article in the wiki (which will be dropped); but seeing as the question is valid, I toss it out to the active Michigan scannists out there, and hope that the individual in question sees the results...

Does anyone know the whereabouts of Bloomfield Twp.'s radio traffic. I'm guessing the either went to the County's system (new or old?) or the MPSCS.

My guess would be they've gone to Open Sky.

I can confirm that, on OpenSky since about April 1st (give or take a week or two).

The only thing still heard on their legacy system is fire toneouts for each of the stations, plus voice traffic for Bloomfield Village fire monitors. I'm guessing the receivers in the stations are still being used, just to activate the alert systems (klaxon, lights, etc), while the voice announcement goes over the FD dispatch talkgroup.
