9&10 News: State Troopers Hit the Highways for Memorial Day Weekend

Maybe someone can let me know in this video you will see pictures of the roof of the vehicle, what are these antennas on the roof, are these MPSCS related or lojack??

Not lojack.. They are an 800 Phantom and a Transit antenna most likely 1.2gig..

So what are they used for??

Phantom(for 800 communication) and a Transit antenna??(locate trooper vehicle location)??

MPSCS Radio
Local PD Radio(dispatched by local county sheriff)
Mobile Data Computers

If lojack was up there you would see 4 antenna's less than 12 inches long in a square. I did notice 4 antennas, so one of them might have been for the radar which would make since.

Upon further review. 2 antennex phantoms 1.2 gig transit and a GPS and on the trunk a wideband VHF antennex

Radar antennas arent roof mounted.

I know its a bit late but it looks like the front two might be for the in car camera mic, the ones at my dept are mounted in the vehicle but look the same.
