Default Rochesters Hills Fire dispatch - silent?

Hmm, I've been able to monitor Rochester Hills Fire dispatch for a long long time now. Suddenly the past few days, in the same location(s), I'm not hearing any of the dispatches. I know they are active, as numerous times I've heard O.C. Sheriffs make a corresponding dispatch (I.E. Fire is responding to _____). I've seen the matching FD vehicles headed out (I live near one of the fire stations).

Did something change in there system, or did I just hit a seasonal series of deadspots or something?

My HT has been alerting all day today. No change in freq. 154.415 with long tone of 1082.0hz PL of 210.7hz
Input is still 151.280.
Where are you located?
I've notice a small decrease in signal. It didnt decode over in Southfield yesterday which it usally does.
I know they just bought some new vhf radios programmed as the old ones so I dont think a change is in order for awhile.

Thanks for all the replies.
I could have provided more details I guess, though my settings haven't change in a long while . . . I'm using a Uniden BC296D. 154.415MHz, CTCSS set for 210.7Hz.

I'm not far east from Station #4. I see they have a large antenna mast at that station, I think I remember seeing one at station #1 as well. Where do they dispatch from?

If you cant hear them from your location and settings can you hear noaa weather. You may have a bad antenna connection not allowing vhf signals to get to the radio. From your location Oakland 800 would most likely come thru even without ant. Good time to check is around 5PM daily pager test.

They dispatch from Station 1 on Livernois south of Avon. They have Station 4 set up as a back-up dispatch center, in case the worst were to happen. They also dispatch the Oakland Twp FD/EMS on 423.425.

Default Rochester Hills FD

I'm hearing them from Detroit right now loud & clear 154.415 PL 210.7, 06:30pm.

I would try another antenna, or check your settings.
